Huntington, the beautiful.

I grew up in a Huntington where I road my bike all throughout town. I could walk down the block as a child to the bakery for fresh bread. I had my choice of pools to spend my summers at learning how to swim and cooling off in the sun. However, as time has progressed, Huntington has not. Now I carry pepper spray on my key ring and not a day goes by that a drug bust takes place. or violence happens. While the town has recently been working toward the better there are still many issues within the city which the citizens have issues with. Here are a few questions I would like as Huntington’s Mayor.

Can we get an update on the status of tearing down Hal Greer public housing and displacing hundreds of families?

What is currently being done about the dilapidating homes around the city?

A year and a half ago it seems like Huntington was on track to rid the city of abandoned homes.

Can we get an update on the storm sewer drain problem we face in Huntington?

Is anything in the works about a public swimming pool for the citizens of Huntington?

Finally. It seems the city has had issues collecting debts from citizens in the past. What is the city doing to fix this issue? What is the city doing overall to widen the overall budget?
