SUBJECT: Predictions of topics for the Presidential State of the Union address, which will take place on Jan. 28 2014.

NEED: Public should know what to expect and the details of said topics of the State of the Union address so they will be able to educate themselves on the issues so they can understand the topic when it is brought up. The event is newsworthy because it effects every citizen in the United States. Because the event affects each person, they should be knowledgable about the topics before they are discussed.

SCOPE: I plan to predict topics which will be brought up and why they should be discussed in the State of the Union address.

METHODS: I will look at previous columns, articles, achieves, speeches, reports, photos, past State of the Union addresses and whatever other methods I find fit to research topics I believe will be discussed.  This will mostly be done with computer access.

SOURCES: I will look at newspapers, journals, government websites, Marshall University achieves, along with other things to prepare myself for the article. (The Washington Post, New York Times, White House website, etc.)

PRESENTATION: The series will be a one-time preview column for the State of the Union Address. If available, I will pull photos from the address after receiving permission to do so in order to avoid copyright issues.

FOLLOW-UP:  I expect a response from people who might disagree or agree with the topics I predict will be discussed and investigate on. While there will not be any additional stories to this, I will live-Tweet the event as it happens and compare what the President says to the column I am proposing. The Twitter account I will use for the event is: @Sealey_KSR
